Porcupine Quills

Porcupine Quills are used for protection mainly, but can also be used for strength and cursing spiritual rituals. Their strong keratin sheath and extremely sharp end are a spear like weapon when used correctly. They can be used to carve candles in candle magic and also to pierce through. The shafts grow in groups, so they are great to use in numbers and can be very potent in group work to amplify effects. 

Porcupine Quills can be used for defensive magic, self protection, baneful workings, self and/or home wards.  Add them to your protection rituals as a form of defensive magic and baneful warding. Place a Quill at your front and/or back door to prevent negative humans/spirits from entering your home. Place a Quill under your pillow to prevent bad dreams.
